Anaconda "fun" moment

I suspect Anaconda was not ever run by anyone in a non-English language during the Fedora 18 cycle, otherwise I can not explain this:

  1. Same thing here, plus the keyboard layout always in qwerty for years, it's really annoying to see that Fedora teams don't care about non-english people over the years :(

  3. Actually it was in the Fedora 18 "possible blocker" category: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=892122

    1. Thanks! At least I don't need to report it :)

    2. Please do comment or add yourself to the BZ. It would be nice to get that one fixed and that one is sitting quietly now.

    3. If I understand it, the bug is actually fixed, but it did not make into the release, so it's F19 material (we don't usually respin images after release)

  4. aha! I was getting the same thing when setting up Fedora 18 in Dutch. Thanks for posting. It was a bit of a struggle to get past it because the next button was positioned off-screen. required some and guessing to finish the install. I thought it was something weird with the Dutch translation, but other languages also saw it apparently :)

  5. It could be avoided, by connecting to the network before starting anaconda.

    1. Right, but if you have a wireless you need to go through there

  6. It was easy to avoid by simply typing tab a couple of times to get to the next button and click enter.
